Our Mandate : SZTDC serves as a conduit for the commercialization of viable small scale mining projects including beneficiation of related minerals, as such reflecting the objective of the South African Government’s commitment to small scale mining as one of the key factors for economic growth.

SZTDC’s strategies have been formulated to achieve the following objectives:-

• To assist emerging entrepreneurs during the infancy stage of entering into the small scale business.

• To equip emerging entrepreneurs with the necessary technical skills and technology know how to develop viable SSM projects.

• To train and develop emerging enterprises in business skills in order that they can successfully manage their business.

• To assist emerging entrepreneurs with the establishment of their business and marketing their products.
